- Dhan: "No" or prefix of negation of a verb
- Dhan ni: "is not" or "am not"
- Elnara: Name of the planet and the inhabitants thereof
- Ik: "Yes"
- Ik a Dhan Oh: "Yes or no?"
- Kuma: "I" or "me" (1st person singular)
- Kuma ni...: "I am..."
- Kumani: The personal name of deity and collective forces of nature, considered as one and the same.
- Kuma se: "We" (1st and 3rd person)
- Kuma va: "We" (1 and 2nd person)
- Moom: A radial Mammal native to Elnara; rather like a shaggy sea urchin in appearance.
- Nglo: To like.
- Ngloko: To like very much
- Nglokoko: To love (as of a person, rather than a thing)
- Ngolandra: The heavens; more specifically, the particular galaxy wherein Elnara is located.
- Ni: "is" or "am"
- Oh: At the end of a statement, indicates a question.
- Se: Suffix to pluralize a noun or pronoun
- Shlaan: A radial reptile, native to Elnara. "... much like a cross between a dragon and a starfish."
- Tande: Understand on a verbal level
- Tunda: Understand on a mental level while touching hand-to-hand.
- Tundunda: Understand on the deepest mental level while touching the head
- Va: You (2nd person singular)
- Va se: You all (2nd and 3rd person)
- Yiffle: A radial, gliding creature of Elnara. It looks a bit like a feathered umbrella, without the handle.
